Please note that since 01.01.2014, waste disposal in Canton Nidwalden has been fee-based.

The appropriate pre-taxed garbage bags can be purchased individually or in bulk from the mountain shop and the valley station of the Wirzweli cable car.

The collection point for general household waste (in the red "Suibr" pre-taxed bags), PET, glass, paper and cardboard is located right by the mountain station of the Dallenwil-Wirzweli cable car.
