Global trail routes

All our snowshoe trails are marked using the signs below. You can recognise the level of difficulty by the colour of the signpost. It is important to remember that the markers are placed as close together as possible, so that you can get back to your starting point safely, even in fog or heavy snow. Please do not leave the marked routes. They are on the edge of designated undisturbed wildlife areas. If you leave the trails you may come upon obstacles such as holes, streams or pasture fences. Please note that snowshoe trails are not winter hiking paths and must only be used with the appropriate equipment – danger of accidents!

Two levels of difficulty

A route which is clearly and fully signposted, accessible to anyone and can be mastered without a special guide.

For this route the following points must be stressed:

Use only after consulting the local weather and avalanche conditions, moderately difficult, signposted route, guide recommended.

Please note that our trails lead you into the open countryside. Please be considerate of the woodland and take your rubbish home with you. You will be able to discover many animal tracks and delight in this unforgettable experience.
