Wirzweli-Dominikpfad-Wirzweli

An easy hike over the fascinating high plateau of Wirzweli.

To begin with, a little ascent towards the Horn. After about 70 altitude difference, branch off to the right, onto the Dominikpfad. This will take you along a fairly flat route through fields and alpine meadows. Some of the tracks are quite narrow. Several fireplaces invite you to stay for a barbecue, after which you can continue, passing under the Gummenalp cable car through to “Lueg is Tal” (1330m).

Here you can shorten your walk by joining the Witch Trail, or hike onwards via Langboden-Huismatt and so back to Wirzweli village.

This hike is suitable for children from age 4.
